Marley Donnan-Cook is a musician from Perth, Western Australia who has been heavily involved within the local music scene for over 10 years. After studying at WAAPA for a few years and getting a Diploma in Music Artistry in 2016, Marley went on to tour nationally and internationally with his band Demon Days. Over the next few years they went on to play and support artists such as Lily Allen, Nai Palm (Hiatus Kaiyote), Emily King, Winston Surfshirt as well as performances at Woodford Folk Festival, Falls Festival and Groovin' the Moo. Since 2016, Marley has played as either a session musician or core member of local groups Supathick, Blake Rose, Airline Food, Sydnee Carter, Spacey Jane, Jack Davies & the Bushchooks, Grace Armstrong and Woolly Mammoth amongst others, and has recently completed a world tour as the bassist for Tash Sultana's live touring band after an extensive audition process. When not on stage, Marley has invested time into recording and session work with up and coming artists as well as his writing and producing his own songs. Passionate about learning and the joy of music, Marley hopes to encourage and nurture any young(or old) musician and try to help them have a fun and inspiring time while playing their instrument.
